Day 1 — Chengdu → Wolong Panda Base → Four Girls Mountain

Distance / Time: 230 km / 4.5 hrs
Altitude: Four Girls Mountain Town, approx. 2,900m
Accommodation: Four Girls Mountain Town

Depart from Chengdu and drive into the mountain landscapes of western Sichuan. Visit Wolong Panda Base to observe rescued giant pandas in a quieter, semi-wild mountain environment, away from the crowds of Chengdu’s main panda base.

Continue to Four Girls Mountain Town. If weather allows, stop at Maobiliang Platform for sunset views of Mount Siguniang’s iconic snow peaks.

Day 2 — Four Girls Mountain → Shuangqiao Valley → Jiaju Tibetan Village

Distance / Time: 120 km / 2.5 hrs
Altitude: Shuangqiao Valley → Jiaju Tibetan Village, approx. 2,000m
Accommodation: Jiaju Tibetan Village

Take the scenic shuttle into Shuangqiao Valley and enjoy an easy 3–4 hour walk through alpine lakes, wildflowers, forests, grazing yaks, and dramatic mountain scenery.

Later, continue to Jiaju Tibetan Village, known for its whitewashed Tibetan homes, terraced fields, and hillside views of traditional village life.

Day 3 — Jiaju → Yala Snow Mountain → Tagong

Distance / Time: 110 km / 3 hrs
Altitude: Yala Snow Mountain area → Tagong, approx. 3,300m
Accommodation: Tagong

Enjoy the morning view over Jiaju Tibetan Village before continuing toward Yala Snow Mountain, one of the sacred peaks of the eastern Tibetan region.

Hike through forest trails, streams, and open mountain scenery beneath Yala Snow Mountain. A picnic lunch can be arranged during the 4–5 hour hiking experience, with optional horse riding depending on conditions.

Day 4 — Tagong → Xinduqiao → Litang

Distance / Time: 200 km / 4 hrs
Altitude: Tagong, approx. 3,300m → Litang, approx. 3,950m
Accommodation: Litang

Drive through Tagong and Xinduqiao, stopping for Tibetan village views, grasslands, prayer flags, rivers, and photography scenery along the way.

Continue across the plateau to Litang, one of the highest towns in the world. Explore Litang Ancient Town and experience its strong Tibetan cultural atmosphere.

Day 5 — Litang → Mount Genie

Distance / Time: 105 km / 2 hrs
Altitude: Mount Genie area, approx. 3,800m
Accommodation: Mount Genie Area

Depart from Litang and travel into the remote Mount Genie region through vast highland valleys and open Tibetan grasslands.

On arrival, explore sacred mountain viewpoints, alpine lakes, quiet valleys, and untouched plateau scenery. This is one of the most peaceful and remote parts of the journey.

Day 6 — Mount Genie → Xinduqiao

Distance / Time: 300 km / 6 hrs
Altitude: Mount Genie area → Xinduqiao, approx. 2,500m
Accommodation: Xinduqiao

Travel from Mount Genie toward Xinduqiao through changing plateau scenery, from remote valleys to open grasslands and highland villages.

Along the way, enjoy scenic stops and look for plateau wildlife such as marmots, yaks, and wild birds. Arrive in Xinduqiao, known for golden light and classic Tibetan village scenery.

Day 7 — Xinduqiao → Kangding → Chengdu

Distance / Time: 347 km / 4.5 hrs
Altitude: Xinduqiao, approx. 2,500m → Kangding → Chengdu

Depart from Xinduqiao and travel through Kangding along the scenic snow mountain highway back toward Chengdu.

Stop in Kangding for valley and river scenery, then continue via Honghaizi Lake for panoramic plateau views and photography stops before descending into Chengdu.
